About
OpenProject is an open-source project management platform developed in Berlin, Germany, offering Kanban boards, Gantt charts, time tracking, agile sprints, budgeting, and wiki documentation. It is the leading EU-built alternative to Jira and Asana for teams that require self-hosted project management. The Community Edition (GPL) can be self-hosted on any EU server, and the Enterprise Cloud version is hosted in German data centres with GDPR compliance and a signed DPA. OpenProject is widely used by German public sector agencies, research institutions, and regulated industries that are prohibited from using US-hosted SaaS tools for internal project management. It supports German, English, French, and 30+ other languages.
