Formbricks is an open-source survey and research platform built in Germany, designed for product teams that need in-app microsurveys and user feedback collection alongside traditional form functionality. It enables targeted surveys based on user attributes, events, or segments — showing the right question to the right user at the right moment. Formbricks is licensed under AGPL and fully self-hostable on any EU server, meaning all survey response data stays on infrastructure you control. The managed cloud version is hosted in Germany under GDPR. It integrates with Notion, Slack, Airtable, and major CRM tools. Formbricks is the EU alternative to Sprig (US) and Hotjar Surveys for teams that want qualitative user research without sending user data to US-hosted systems.
