About EU Alts

What it is
EU Alts is a directory of European alternatives to US tech products, aimed at indie developers, solo founders and micro-SaaS builders. It lists EU-headquartered software across SaaS, cloud, fintech and more, and maps European products to the US products they can replace.
How listings are checked
EU headquarters alone does not remove exposure to the US CLOUD Act, so ownership and hosting are checked per listing, and each positive claim is meant to cite a source. Read the CLOUD Act guide for what that means in practice. If a listing is wrong, see security and corrections; we fix confirmed errors.
Who runs it
EU Alts is an independent project operated by polarmake, Norway. It is not affiliated with the European Union or with any vendor it lists.
Our own products
The operator (polarmake) also builds FjordID, FormVault, Invoicia and Nordpix. Where one of these appears on EU Alts, the page says so. Listings follow the same checks as any other product, and a vendor cannot pay for a listing or a better placement.
